As your student begins the process of enrolling at »Æ¹Ïapp State, the Orientation Office invites you to attend a Parent & Guardian Orientation session. Parent & Guardian Orientation will give your family the opportunity to learn more about academic programs and campus health and safety as well as get advice on your student’s transition to college.

Our Winter Orientation program helps new students enrolling at »Æ¹Ïapp State mid-year – both transfer students and new incoming students who have not yet attended college – to be fully prepared for the beginning of the spring semester.
By attending this Orientation session, you will have the opportunity to learn more about everything that »Æ¹Ïapp State has to offer. The program will guide you through the specific requirements of »Æ¹Ïapp State’s academic programs and provide information on campus services and commuter- and resident-student life.
Each year, the Orientation program welcomes over 800 new students to »Æ¹Ïapp State and the Lancer community. Our Orientation Leaders (OLs) serve as ambassadors and mentors for all incoming students and their families, facilitating workshops, leading groups, and participating in panels to help ease the transition from high school to college.
